When it comes to the painting side of things, are there any other games like this?

I just bought this game for me and my friend and I love it so far! Both of us have always enjoyed painting miniatures but have always been too broke to actually get into the hobby as much as we’ve wanted to.
My question to you all is does anyone know if there are any other “digital miniature” games like this? I’ve always wished Games Workshop would put out a WH 40k video games but it sounds like they make too much money on their physical stuff to do that. But if there are other games in this space I would love to support them and watch this scene grow!

Best painting game?

So I want to learn to paint because I am extremely bad at it (My art teacher told me I paint at the level of an 8 year old (I am not joking)). I don't wanna spend money on all the paints and brushes just to waste them as I learn and I have heard many people say that there are VR painting games that are so realistic that it taught them to paint IRL. I saw someone on this subreddit a few days ago saying Vermillion is realistic, and I have seen others use google tilt brush. Which one should I get? Is there any that is good other than these two?
Top Comment: Vermillion is awesome and it's an actual oil-on-canvas simulator, not just a general drawing app. Like, you have to load up your brushes properly, how much pressure you use matters, paints will mix on the palette as well as on the canvas, etc, etc. It also has built in tutorials and links to Bob Ross episodes so you can learn in the app. It's not much but my very first painting is here , based on a screencap from one of my favorite shows. It's a fantastic program.
Does games workshop still sell the complete paint set?

Hey guys. Just a quick question. I was browsing the games workshop store website and since I haven't bought any painting supplies in years, I was looking to get the "complete paint and supply set". I'm not sure what they used to be called but I have had two different versions over the past decade or so.
The first one I had, had the twist off top paints, which were the older paints. Then I got the briefcase version that had all the washes, paints, brushes, even plates of different dirt and grass for bases.
Now it seems like they split the big all in one paint set into smaller groups of paints. I just want to make sure I didn't miss something and they still sell this somewhere.

I bought the massive 160 paint box from my local shop a few weeks ago, so they're definitely still around, but I couldn't find it at all online.
I'd suggest checking out your local shops! As a bonus, they'll probably replace any of the dead paints that inevitably happen when a box stands around for years on end.
How to fix dry paint on red grass games everlasting wet palette?

I've been trying to use the everlasting wet palette for the last several months to little success. When I mix colors together for layering, creating a thinner pool of paint on the paper, it completely dries within minutes, making me remix paint constantly and wasting paint in the process. I only get to paint for an hour or two a day, so being able to save paint for later is important to me and also seems impossible with this palette unless there's a thick glob of paint straight from the bottle on the paper. I've tried completely soaking the sponge in water for a while before my first painting session, but it still isn't enough to keep the paints moist. Applying more water around the edges of the sponge between sessions without having it touch the paper and messing up the paints also seems difficult and finicky. Any suggestions?

I don't soak the sponge seperately. Meaning I keep it in the palette and pour water over it until it is soaked and water is around the edges. Usually until the sponge can be moved. Then I apply a sheet.

Is it possible to paint sundrop board games miniatures or is it better not to?

Hello I just got into painting my boardgame minis and i love it. Also quiet satisfied with the results.
I just finishing painting my Nemesis Lockdown minis, i did it slapchop style with contrast paint.
Now soon my kickstarter of nemesis retaliation will arrive, but when i ordered the kickstarter i wasnt into painting yet so back then i chose to have the minis sundropped(which i regret now cause i rather paint them myself)
So my questions are:
what Exactly is sundrop? is it comparable to the drybrushing you do with slapchop?
Is it ok to paint over sundrop with my contrast paints or is it gonna look very strange?

Rudy busts his ass doing the dirty stuff constantly. Rebounding, setting screens, hustling, anchoring the defense and Randle can’t hit him when he’s got Barnes sealed deep in the paint? For what so Randle can drive and force a contested layup or kick and we launch another brick 3? That was bullshit by Randle man. It was DLo esc.
He doesn’t have the history with Rudy to be not passing there. It’s a selfish play on both ends and it doomed us in the moment. I can’t believe how bad the team chemistry is that that moment happened in a tie game with 4 minutes left.

Valve knows what the fuck they're doing when it comes to running a platform. YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, etc. always update things in the worst way possible. Their updated UIs display less useful content, they're much clunkier, they remove features, they screw up content delivery, and they mostly serve to deliver more advertisements.
The new dashboard is pretty sleek and some of the new features (e.g. notes) are already proving useful.

What’s going on with spray paints?!

Hi Guys, So I’m in this UK and I’ve been trying to get some gw mechanics standard grey spray paint to prime my models. I’ve been looking for the last month as I noticed I was starting to run out, but no where seems to have ANY spray paint primer in stock, never mind grey!
